About HBEMF Cameroon
Breaking stigma, advancing healthcare access, and creating economic dignity for individuals affected by neurological differences and mental health challenges across the Nwa Subdivision.
Our Story & Heritage
Hope Bridge Empowerment Foundation Cameroon (HBEMF Cameroon) is the field program of Hope Bridge Empowerment Foundation, founded to address severe gaps in neurological and psychiatric healthcare access across rural underserved communities, starting in the Nwa Subdivision of Cameroon.
Living with conditions like epilepsy and mental illness in rural areas often comes with profound social stigma, isolation, and lack of affordable essential medications. HBEMF Cameroon acts as a bridge—connecting families in Mbem and surrounding villages with medical resources, community education, and sustainable economic opportunities.
